Escrow Protection Terms & Conditions
At SHOP REALM MARKETPLACE, we operate a secure Escrow-Based Payment System to ensure maximum buyer protection and promote trust between buyers and vendors.
By purchasing on our platform, you agree to the following escrow rules:
1. How Escrow Works
When you place an order and complete payment via cryptocurrency (BTC, USDT, or Monero), your funds are NOT released to the vendor immediately. Instead, they are securely held in an escrow wallet controlled by our system.
This means:
The vendor does not receive your funds until the order is successfully delivered.
You are protected from scams, fraud, and undelivered items.
2. Order Confirmation & Release of Funds
Once your product is delivered and you are satisfied:
You can click “Mark as Received” from your account dashboard.
Upon your confirmation, the funds will be automatically or manually released to the vendor.
3. Automatic Release
To ensure fairness, if no confirmation or dispute is made within 7 calendar days after the vendor marks the order as shipped, our system may automatically release funds.
Please always mark the order as received only when you are satisfied.
4. Disputes & Buyer Protection
If your order is not received, incorrect, or damaged:
You may open a dispute ticket before the funds are released.
Our support team will investigate the issue.
If the vendor is at fault, the order will be cancelled and your funds refunded or credited.
5. Refund Policy (within Escrow)
Refunds are only processed before escrow funds are released to the vendor. Once funds are released, any further issue must be resolved directly with the vendor under their return policy.
6. Vendor Trust & Verification
All verified vendors must agree to our escrow rules and comply with high standards. Vendors showing the Verified Badge have been manually reviewed for legitimacy.
7. Communication
You can securely communicate with vendors using our encrypted messaging system. Always keep records of your conversation in case of disputes.
8. Supported Escrow Currencies
Our escrow currently supports:

Tether (USDT – TRC20/OMNI/ERC20 depending on wallet)
Monero (XMR)
All crypto transactions are timestamped and verifiable on the blockchain.
9. Legal & Ethical Note
Escrow is provided as a good-faith trust service. Abuse of the system (by buyers or vendors) may result in permanent bans, blocked wallets, and legal escalation.

Should a claim be resolved in your favor, refunds are processed within 24 hours of the claim’s conclusion.

If any seller instructs you to act contrary to these guidelines, do not proceed under any circumstances. Should you (the buyer) choose to engage in a transaction without utilizing an escrow service, you do so entirely at your own risk, and we will not be held responsible for any resulting issues. You alone will bear the consequences. The official instructions are outlined below:
- Buyer Place An Order: The purchaser must first submit an order to the vendor of their choice, based on the specific product they intend to acquire.
- Buyer Pays To The Escrow (Shop Realm): The Buyer remits payment for their order using their chosen method (specifically cryptocurrency) to the Escrow, where the transaction undergoes verification.
- The Seller Ships Goods / Services: Upon confirmation of the deposit, the Seller is duly authorized to proceed with the shipment of the merchandise in full compliance with the stipulated shipping timeframe and all associated terms and conditions.
- Buyer Receives and confirms the Goods / Services: The Buyer shall have a period of three (3) days from the date of receipt to inspect and confirm acceptance of the goods.
- We ( The Escrow) Pays the Seller: Upon receipt of notification from the buyer confirming satisfactory delivery of the goods, or upon the expiration of the designated inspection period without dispute, the funds will be disbursed to the seller.
The transaction is now complete and the same process goes on for a new order.
